CR Resource Center, Inc. is committed to maintaining an inclusive and equitable environment in all aspects of our work.

ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY

CR Resource Center, Inc. maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. Harassment undermines dignity, safety, and trust, and it is compatible with our mission and values.

Harassment includes any unwelcome conduct (verbal, physical, visual, written, or digital) that creates an intimidating. hostile, degrading, or offensive environment.

Examples may include, but are not limited to:

  • Slurs, derogatory language, or offensive remarks

  • Inappropriate jokes related to protected characteristics

  • Unwelcome sexual comments or advances

  • Intimidation, bullying, or threats

  • Unwanted physical contact

  • Displaying offensive images or symbols

  • Harassment through email, text messages, social media, or other digital communication.

Any form of harassment may result in corrective action.

ORGANIZATIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT

Everyone who engages with CR Resource Center (staff, volunteers, board members, participants, and partners) is expected to uphold a standard of respectful and responsible behavior.

This includes:

  • Treating others with dignity, respect, and courtesy

  • Communicating respectfully, even during disagreements

  • Respecting personal boundaries

  • Supporting an inclusive and welcoming environment

  • Following organizational policies and program guidelines

Behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of others may result in removal from programs or organizational involvement.

PARTICIPANT RIGHTS & PROTECTION

CR Resource Center, Inc. is committed to ensuring that individuals who participate in our programs are treated fairly and have access to services in a safe and supportive environment. The policies in this section outline the standards we follow to protect participant rights, ensure accessibility, and provide services in a manner that prioritizes well-being and inclusion.

ACCESSIBILITY

CR Resource Center strives to make our programs, services, and resources accessible to individuals with different abilities, needs, and circumstances. We recognize that barriers to access can take many forms, including physical, communication, financial, or technological barriers.

Whenever possible, we work to reduce those barriers so that individuals can participate in our programs in a meaningful way.

WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION

CR Resource Center encourages individuals to raise concerns if they become aware of potential misconduct, unethical behavior, or misuse of organizational resources. Concerns may be reported by staff, volunteers, board members, or others associated with the organization. Reports made in good faith will be taken seriously and reviewed appropriately. Individuals who raise concerns are protected from retaliation for reporting suspected wrongdoing.
